Pürenli Plateau

Pürenli Yaylası is a natural plateau located within the boundaries of Gölyaka district in Düzce province, at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters. Characterized by dense forest cover, expansive meadows, and minimal human intervention, the plateau forms an integral component of the region’s natural landscape. It is utilized by both local residents and visitors from outside the area for nature walks and camping activities held during various seasons of the year.

The plateau is situated approximately 28 kilometers from the center of Düzce province and 24 kilometers from the center of Gölyaka district. Access is provided via stabilized forest roads that pass near the Güzeldere Waterfall. The route can become challenging depending on seasonal weather conditions, particularly in spring and winter. This necessitates careful planning of visits with consideration of seasonal variations.
