Why Is the Center Important?
The primary function of the Science Experiment Center is to promote scientific literacy. It helps children understand abstract concepts more easily by transforming theoretical knowledge into tangible experiences.
- Concrete Examples of Abstract Concepts: For instance, the term force is a technical concept. At the center, you can perform a rope-pulling experiment to understand what force means. When two people pull the rope in opposite directions, you can observe concretely how the applied force affects balance or generates motion.
- The center supports the educational curriculum by enabling students to connect what they learn in class with real-life situations.
