  • To establish an effective communication bridge between industry, schools, and the public, strengthening collaboration among these three stakeholders.

Goals

  • To organize at least one science festival annually to encourage collaboration between educational institutions and industry and to raise public awareness in this field.

  • To host at least ten scientific conferences, seminars, workshops, and similar events annually to strengthen scientific communication and knowledge sharing.

  • To become one of the most visited scientific and educational centers in Türkiye by visitor numbers.

  • To share experiences with other science centers across Türkiye and serve as a guiding model for new national initiatives.

  • To enhance communication among all science centers in Türkiye and lay the groundwork for cooperation agreements based on shared interests.

  • To support schools with insufficient resources for practical science activities through mobile units.

  • To organize an annual “Science Festival” to raise nationwide awareness of science and scientific activities.

Workshops

In addition to its interactive exhibition areas, the center offers workshops designed to strengthen the transmission of scientific and technological knowledge to students. These workshops aim to deepen students’ understanding of various scientific disciplines and make learning engaging and educational.

Students aged 6 to 14 may apply through a reservation system to attend weekday and weekend programs. Workshops are open to both group and individual participants. Students are assigned to workshops according to age groups: 6–8, 9–11, and 12–14 years.

Natural Sciences Workshop

The Natural Sciences Workshop covers sub-disciplines such as biology, physics, chemistry, and human biology.

  • Ecology Workshops: Students learn about the relationship between living organisms and nature, examining samples of plants, fungi, and animals under microscopes. They also engage in interactive activities centered on natural concepts such as seeds, flowers, fungi, birds, and insects.

  • Physics Workshops: Students explore everyday phenomena through experiments, discovering physical concepts such as force, energy, motion, waves, optics, electricity, and magnetism through hands-on activities.

  • Chemistry Workshops: A variety of experiments are conducted to teach the properties of substances and chemical reactions. Students create everyday products such as perfume, toothpaste, and cream using their own hands.

  • Human Biology Workshops: Students study human physiology and anatomy, focusing on cells, organs, the nervous system, and genetics, conducting scientific observations and gaining foundational knowledge about human health.

Mathematics Workshop

The Mathematics Workshop aims to teach mathematical concepts to students through games. Fundamental mathematical ideas such as natural numbers, fractions, measurement, geometric shapes, and probability are presented through relatable everyday examples and playful activities, enabling students to develop their mathematical thinking skills.

Design Workshop

Design workshops encourage students to explore their creativity and develop skills in various art disciplines. Practical activities are conducted in areas such as drawing, ceramic, weaving, ebru, miniature painting, glass coloring, origami, and calligraphy, among other art disciplines.

Technology Workshop

Technology workshops are designed to equip students with knowledge and skills in robotics, coding, and digital production. Students gain hands-on experience in areas such as robot building, film and animation production, mobile application development, 3D modeling, augmented reality, and energy technologies.

Astronomy, Aviation, and Space Workshop

Astronomy Workshops

Students gain knowledge about space and universe, exploring fundamental cosmic structures such as planets, stars, and meteors.

Aviation and Space Workshops

Principles of aviation are taught through simple experiments. In these workshops, students examine the aerodynamic principles of aircraft and explore through hands-on activities how devices such as drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and rockets function.
