Rami Library

The Rami Library, a new addition to Istanbul's culture life, stands out as one of Türkiye's largest and modern libraries. Born from the restoration of the historic Rami Barracks, the library preserves traces of the past while offering a vision oriented toward the future.

The Rami Library was realized through the restoration of the Rami Barracks, a historic structure deeply embedded in Istanbul's historical fabric and possessing centuries-old heritage. This building, bearing the marks of Ottoman architecture, has been transformed into a modern library that safeguards the values of the past while being equipped with contemporary technologies. The library’s spacious and open interior spaces provide readers with a comfortable study environment.

The Rami Library boasts a rich and diverse collection. Thousands of books, journals, articles and visual materials occupy its shelves. The library offers a wide range of materials catering to different age groups and interests. Resources span from children's books to academic works, from art publications to scientific journals. The library does not merely offer access to books but also encompasses a broad array of services, including:

• Study areas: Various study spaces are available for individual and group work.
• Computer and internet access: Free internet access is provided for students and researchers.
