Lütfi Ege Anatolian High School

Lütfi Ege Anadolu Lisesi is a secondary education institution located in the Selçuk Bey Neighborhood of the Merkezefendi District in Denizli Province. The school, situated 7 kilometers from the center of Denizli, derives its name from Lütfi Ege, who donated the land for its campus.^【1】

The establishment of the school was made possible through Lütfi Ege’s land donation.^【2】 The institution began its educational activities in the 2002–2003 academic year as an Anatolian Teacher High School. In 2018, following an administrative reorganization, it was reclassified as a “Project School.”

Lütfi Ege Anadolu Lisesi operates as a public school under the authority of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye. Its vision is to be a pioneering educational institution grounded in civilizational values, generating knowledge and shaping the future.

Its mission is to ensure that students develop into individuals equipped with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, guided by national and universal values.^【3】

The daily educational schedule begins at 08:15 and ends at 15:05. The curriculum is structured around interdisciplinary, innovative, and flexible learning approaches. The school’s educational strategies are implemented in accordance with the Strategic Plan covering the years 2024–2028. Additionally, to ensure technological integration in learning environments, the school utilizes a fiber-optic internet infrastructure under the Fatih Project.^【4】

Since 2018, the institution has admitted students under the “Project School” framework. Admission criteria and student placement are determined according to centralized examination and assignment guidelines established by the Ministry of National Education.^【5】

The school campus is a complex comprising the main academic building, an indoor sports hall, and a dormitory. The main building houses 26 classrooms, modern laboratories, a library, a multipurpose assembly hall, and subject-specific classrooms. The campus also includes a cafeteria. Natural gas is used for heating.^【6】

The school’s administrative headquarters are located at 509. Sokak No: 2, Selçuk Bey Neighborhood, Merkezefendi/Denizli. The institution provides services with an administrative and teaching staff compliant with standards set by the Ministry of National Education.^【7】

The academic staff consists of 48 specialized teachers organized by subject. The distribution includes: 8 Mathematics, 6 Turkish Language and Literature, 5 English, 4 Biology, 4 Chemistry, 3 Physics, and 2 Religion and Ethics teachers.

Additionally, the staff includes 2 German, 2 Physical Education, 2 Visual Arts, 2 Music, 2 Guidance, and 2 History teachers, as well as one each of Computer and Instructional Technologies, Geography, and Philosophy teachers. For technical and administrative support of educational and management activities, the institution employs three Data Preparation and Control Operators (DPCOs) and one auxiliary services staff member.^【8】

According to data from the 2025–2026 academic year, the school serves a total of 573 students. The dormitory, with a capacity of 210 beds, provides accommodation exclusively for female students.^【9】

The indoor sports hall is actively used to support students’ physical development.
