Stefan Zweig’s Unexpected Encounter with a Craft, written in 1931 and published in 1934 by a Swiss press, was released in 2020 by İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları under the title Tadımlık. The book contains two short stories:

1. Unexpected Encounter with a Craft: In Paris, a narrator becomes curious about the profession of a small, elderly stranger he notices in a crowd. Over time, he discovers that the man is a pickpocket and offers an observation on his skill. The story unfolds through observations and emotional states, tracing the narrator’s astonishment and curiosity.
2. Spring in the Prater: Set in Vienna’s Prater, this story recounts the temporary disappearance of a woman. Her immersion into the world of ordinary people, after stepping away from her embellished life, brings to the surface a moral and emotional longing.
