AirCar

AirCar is a prototype of an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft equipped with fully electric and autonomous flight systems. Designed to provide an alternative solution for urban and short-distance transportation, the vehicle is specifically developed to address challenges such as traffic congestion and environmental sustainability.

In 2024, AirCar successfully completed its first manned flight test in Türkiye. The flight test was publicly announced by the Anadolu Agency. The two-passenger prototype achieved vertical take-off, reached a specified altitude, and then executed a safe landing during the test.

The test flight was conducted at Bilişim Vadisi with the participation of expert engineers and test pilots. During the flight, the vehicle’s aerial stability, directional control, motor response times, and system reactions to emergency scenarios were evaluated. The results demonstrated that AirCar meets technical safety standards and has achieved a performance level suitable for manned flight.
