Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (original English title: Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl) is a 2024 British long-form stop-motion animated film produced by Aardman Animations and directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham. The screenplay, written by Mark Burton, Nick Park, and Barunka O’Shaughnessy, follows the new adventure of the famous inventor Wallace and his loyal dog Gromit. The film had a limited theatrical release in the United Kingdom on 18 December 2024 and was released worldwide on Netflix on 3 January 2025.

The film is the sixth feature-length entry in the Wallace & Gromit series and serves as a direct sequel to the 1993 short film The Wrong Trousers. As such, it marks the return of Feathers McGraw, the series’ most iconic antagonist, after a 30-year absence.

The film centers on Wallace’s growing dependence on technological innovations and Gromit’s concerns about the consequences of this obsession. Wallace invents a “smart gnome” designed to enhance his own intellect. However, the invention quickly develops an independent consciousness and slips out of control. Meanwhile, it is revealed that a figure from the past is manipulating events in pursuit of revenge. Ultimately, after these developments undermine Wallace’s confidence in his own creations, the responsibility of saving his master falls to the loyal dog Gromit.

Feathers McGraw’s escape from prison and his quest for vengeance form the central conflict of the story. Wallace’s new invention, the AI-powered gnome named Norbot, becomes an integral part of this scheme. Gromit struggles to prevent Wallace from being wrongly accused and to stop the runaway invention.

The film was produced by the Bristol-based studio Aardman Animations in co-production with the BBC. Producers are Richard Beek and Claire Jennings.

Nick Park stated that he had been carrying the idea of “evil garden gnomes” in his mind for over a decade but struggled for a long time to find the right direction for the story. The stop-motion technique used in the film preserves the series’ signature clay animation style.

In technical terms, the production is presented in color with a 2.00:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Digital sound. The film’s runtime is recorded as 1 hour and 22 minutes.
