TEKNOFEST T3 AI Hackathon Competition

T3 AI Hackathon is a competition organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and TEKNOFEST, aiming to develop artificial intelligence-supported cyber security solutions. In the 21st century, where digitalization is accelerating, this competition seeks to produce sustainable and national solutions against cyber threats and has been implemented in alignment with Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative vision.

The primary objective of the T3 AI Hackathon is to encourage the development of next-generation cyber security solutions using large language models (LLMs) and artificial intelligence technologies. Participants are expected to design defense systems based on real-world cyber attack scenarios. Additionally, the competition aims to raise awareness in the field of cyber security, foster teamwork, and enhance participants’ problem-solving skills.

The competition follows the hackathon concept. Participants develop applications within a limited time frame, leveraging the T3 AI Large Language Model (LLM) infrastructure, focusing on designated thematic areas. These applications concentrate on critical domains such as preventing, detecting, or neutralizing cyber attacks. Sustainability, reliability, and innovation are also among the evaluation criteria.

The T3 AI Hackathon is open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students as well as graduates, both within Türkiye and abroad. Participants may apply individually or as teams. Teams develop AI-based projects within the designated themes and present them to the jury.

Throughout the competition, participants receive training and mentorship in the fields of artificial intelligence, large language models, and cyber security. This support aims not only to enhance technical knowledge but also to increase sectoral awareness.

The T3 AI Hackathon is positioned as an important component of Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative, which seeks to contribute to the country’s vision of digital independence.
