Spirit Realm: Chapter 3 (Film)

Insidious: Chapter 3 is a 2015 American supernatural horror film directed by Leigh Whannell. This third installment in the series focuses on the early confrontation of medium Elise Rainier with a terrifying entity, preceding the events of the first two films.

Young Quinn Brenner attempts to communicate with her deceased mother and seeks help from medium Elise Rainier. However, Elise avoids conducting seances due to traumatic experiences from her past. As paranormal events escalate in Quinn’s home and the girl becomes targeted by a malevolent presence, her father Sean tries to convince Elise to intervene. Elise eventually agrees to help and enters the Further to protect Quinn, where she encounters a malevolent entity known as “The Breather,” which preys on human souls.

Insidious: Chapter 3 is the first film in the series to be directed by its screenwriter, Leigh Whannell. Produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli, the film runs for 1 hour and 37 minutes and was released in the United States on 5 June 2015. Filming took place in Canada and the United States. Insidious: Chapter 3 earned approximately $112 million worldwide.
