Insidious: The Red Door is a 2023 American supernatural horror film directed by Patrick Wilson. The fifth installment in the series, it takes place ten years after the traumatic events experienced by the Lambert family.

Josh and Dalton Lambert are trying to overcome the lasting effects of the traumatic events they experienced years ago. Dalton, now starting university, is determined to leave behind his dark past and the demons that haunted his family once and for all. However, during this process, father and son find themselves once again trapped in a terrifying parallel dimension known as “The Further.” Forced to confront new and more ruthless entities hidden behind the Red Door, Josh and Dalton delve into the depths of their past to face the family’s dark secrets and finally lay their demons to rest.
