Monsieur Teste is a five-part essay or prose work created by French writer and thinker Paul Valéry and published in 1926. It centers on the intellectual character Monsieur Teste. This Turkish edition, published in November 2023 by Dergâh Yayınları as part of the World Literature series, offers a profound analysis of contemporary thought through a focus on the character’s mental processes. The edition is prepared by Sakine Korkmaz and translated by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar.
