İftarlık Gazoz is a Turkish film released in 2016, written and directed by Yüksel Aksu, blending the drama and comedy genres. The lead roles are shared by Cem Yılmaz and Berat Efe Parlar. The film, completed in 2015, was first presented to the public at a gala screening on 28 January 2016 at the Kanyon Shopping Mall in Istanbul and was released nationwide in Türkiye on 29 January 2016. Over five weeks, it was shown in 307 different cinemas and was watched by 194,150 viewers in its first three days. In total, it was seen by 1,031,094 people, generating a box office revenue of 12,319,801 TL.

The film centers on Adem, a boy who has just finished fifth grade and does not want to spend his summer vacation idle. With his family’s permission, he begins working for Gazozcu Cibar Kemal. With the arrival of Ramadan, Adem is inspired by sermons he hears at the mosque and decides to fast. However, because he is young, his family opposes this decision. Adem secretly begins observing the fast. In the scorching heat of the Aegean region, working while fasting begins to take a physical and mental toll on Adem. The thirst and hunger he endures distort his perception of reality, and over time he starts seeing mirages.
