I am disappearing

My inspiration was the blues poured into these lines.

The eyes that now look at me, the smile at our farewell.

Perhaps it was the call to my lost soul.

I do not wish for you to leave me.

Your farewell, your gradual distancing with every step.

I missed you; counting and recounting until finally your embrace.

I had endured this chaotic life even when I was weary.

I am unraveling, a tragedy unworthy of notice.

This young girl was swept away by a storm of love.

I silently go mad, your voice nourishing my laughter.

Your eyes were the most beautiful gift promised to me.

As my feelings fade in your absence.

There was no time even to say goodbye.

At every pier, as I lay gazing at the stars.

I only dreamed of the return of those glances.

Be trapped in the emptiness of these lines I wrote.

Vanish in a flash with every smile I once gave.

Disappear into the depths of holes I never knew existed.

With every breath you take without me, descend into gloom.
