Develi Borsa İstanbul Science High School

Develi Borsa İstanbul Fen Lisesi is a secondary education institution affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, located in the Develi district of Kayseri province. The institution operates at Reşadiye Neighborhood, Çevre Yolu Street No:10. The school’s core vision is to cultivate qualified human resources equipped with 21st century skills who will lead the country in strategic fields such as science, medicine, engineering, and academia.^【1】

The institution began its educational activities in 2003 under the name "Develi İMKB Anatolian Teacher High School." As a result of the Ministry of National Education’s initiative to transform Anatolian Teacher High Schools, it was reclassified as a science high school beginning at the end of the 2013–2014 academic year.

The school graduated its first cohort under its science high school status in the 2017–2018 academic year. In 2021–2022, with approval from the Ministry, its official institutional name was updated to "Develi Borsa İstanbul Fen Lisesi."^【2】

The school is a public educational institution under the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education. Its institutional mission is to educate students to an advanced level in science and mathematics, preparing them to become scientists or researchers, and to develop individuals capable of adapting to technological advancements and possessing strong problem-solving skills. Education and instruction at the institution are conducted on a full-day schedule, with class hours running from 08:20 to 15:40.
