Cumhuriyet Neighborhood

Cumhuriyet is a neighborhood in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul, Turkey. It borders the Bağcılar district and is surrounded by the Soğanlı and Kocasinan neighborhoods. During the historical Kocasinan period, the area where the neighborhood is located was covered with vineyards, gardens, and farms. Therefore, the neighborhood has historically been associated with Kocasinan (and more recently, with Soğanlı).
