Although her cousin and physician, Serdar, suggests that she can be treated in Switzerland, the young woman refuses this option. Meanwhile, Leyla unintentionally causes a traffic accident in which Hakan, a pilot, is seriously injured and falls into a coma. Overcome by intense guilt, Leyla does everything in her power to help Hakan recover.

After Hakan awakens from the coma, the care and attention Leyla shows him foster a growing closeness between them. Their relationship quickly turns into love. However, Leyla tries to conceal her fatal illness from Hakan, casting a shadow over their bond. The film explores how love born of conscience is tested by illness and the passage of time.

The film addresses themes such as love, conscience, regret, fear of death, and sacrifice.

In particular, the impact of physical and psychological trauma on human relationships is a central theme of the film.
