What Sections Are Available at the Center?
The center comprises various sections focused on different areas of science.
- Experiment Stations: Interactive experiment sets and tables demonstrate topics from fundamental sciences such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Visitors can conduct their own experiments using these setups. For example, devices illustrating sound propagation or how electricity works are available.
- Space House (Planetarium): A cinema hall designed with a full dome and an internal diameter of 14 meters. Here, 360-degree presentations based on scientific observations and data are displayed. Through these shows, visitors gain the opportunity to explore the structure of the universe, galaxies, stars, and planets.
- Animated Portraits of Scientists: This section features portraits of prominent scientists such as Ali Kuşçu, Isaac Newton, and Marie Curie. Thanks to a special application, these portraits come to life and narrate the scientists’ lives and their scientific contributions.

Why Is the Center Important?
The primary function of the Science Experiment Center is to promote scientific literacy. By transforming theoretical knowledge into tangible experiences, the center helps children understand abstract concepts more easily.
- Concrete Examples of Abstract Concepts: For instance, the term force is a technical concept. At the center, you can perform a rope-pulling experiment to understand what force means. When two people pull the rope in opposite directions, you can observe directly how the applied force affects balance or causes motion.
- The center supports the educational curriculum by enabling students to connect what they learn in class with real-life applications.
