Giresun il merkezinde yer alan Zeytinlik Mahallesi, kentsel tarihî dokusunu büyük oranda koruyabilmiş ender yerleşimlerden biridir. Doğu Karadeniz bölgesinde, Giresun Kalesi’nin doğu yamacında konumlanan bu mahalle, 17 Mayıs 1991 tarihli karar ile III. derece kentsel sit alanı olarak tescillenmiştir.
