Vâsûht, klasik Türk edebiyatında âşığın sevgiliden ve aşktan usanarak yüz çevirmesini, sevgilinin cefalarına katlanmak yerine ondan vazgeçmesini konu alan bir şiir tarzıdır. Farsça kökenli bu terim, “sûhten” (yanmak, âşık olmak) fiiline “vâ-” ön ekinin getirilmesiyle oluşmuş olup “usanmak, yüz çevirmek, terk etmek” anlamına gelir.
