The March 12 Memorandum, is a military-political intervention document submitted on March 12, 1971, to the Presidency of the Republic, the Presidency of the Republic Senate, and the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly, signed by Chief of the General Staff General Memduh Tağmaç, Commander of the Land Forces General Faruk Gürler, Commander of the Air Forces General Muhsin Batur, and Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Celal Eyicioğlu.
