Marmara 1 Street is located in the Soğanlı neighborhood of Bahçelievler district in Istanbul. In the early 1970s, the street was predominantly characterized by informal settlements. However, in 1976, the construction of the Çoban Apartment by Mehmet Çoban, his father Mustafa Çoban, his elder brother Adil Çoban, and his younger brother Kadir Çoban marked the beginning of a new era for the street. The Çoban family moved into this apartment in 1977. This development initiated the transformation of
