
Big Clock Tower, located on Ali Münif Street in Seyhan district of Adana, is one of the city’s most important historic symbols. Standing 32 meters tall, building holds the title of Türkiye’s tallest hour clock tower. Constructed from cut stone, it has a square prism shape. It is noted that the foundation was dug to a depth of 35 meters and its walls were built using small brick tiles. The tower remained standing even after the 1998 Adana earthquake, drawing attention for its durability.Big Clock

Yağ Camii is a historical place of worship located on Ali Münif Yeğenağa Street in the Alidede neighborhood of Seyhan District, Adana Province, Türkiye. Originally named Eski Cami, this building was converted from the Saint Jacques Church into a mosque in 906 AH / 1501 CE by order of Ramazanoğlu Halil Bey. Due to the oil market established in front of the mosque’s entrance, it began to be known as “Yağ Camii” during people and this name has persisted to the present day. Foundation documents also
