Şayan

Şayan has entered Turkish from the Persian word şāyān (شایان). This term derives from the Persian verb şāyistan / şāy-, which means “to be suitable,” “to be fitting,” or “to be possible.” The core meaning of the word is “worthy,” “suitable,” “deserving,” and “meritorious.” In Turkish, it has been widely used in expressions conveying praise, appreciation, and appropriateness.
