Rocky 3

Rocky 3 is a 1982 American sports-drama film. The third installment of the series, it was written, directed by and stars Sylvester Stallone once again in the lead role place. Film serves as a direct sequel to the first two Rocky, Rocky 2 films and focuses on Balboa’s physical and psychological struggles this time around. In this installment of the series, the themes of post-success complacency, the necessity of facing a new rival and personal growth come to the forefront.

The film begins with Rocky Balboa holding the heavyweight World championship title. Enjoying the pleasures of fame and wealth, Rocky struggles with the comforts that fame brings while facing a new threat: Clubber Lang, an aggressive and ambitious boxer.

Shaken by the death of his manager Mickey, the hero loses his motivation. However, with the help of his former rival Apollo Creed, he rediscovers himself and trains for a rematch against Clubber Lang. The film builds a dramatic transformation around this confrontation and ultimate reckoning.
