As a modern interpretation of the iconic Renault 5 model, which was first produced in 1972 with an internal combustion engine, this new generation vehicle was introduced in 2024 and launched in the European market as of 2025. Playing a significant role in the transition to electric mobility, the Renault 5 E-Tech stands out with both its nostalgic design and contemporary technological features.

The new Renault 5's exterior design combines the aesthetic elements of the past with contemporary lines. Equipped with 40 kWh and 52 kWh capacity batteries, the vehicle can offer a range of 300 to 400 kilometers depending on the battery size. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time for the most powerful version has been measured at approximately 7.8 seconds. The maximum speed is approximately 150 km/h.

In-car comfort and digital equipment are prioritized. The model features a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system screen ranging from 7 to 10 inches. Renault's system, called OpenR Link, offers Google-supported services and also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Features such as a wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, and multiple USB-C ports enhance the interior ergonomics.
