Recognized for its striking fur pattern and unique behaviors, this species is rarely observed in [Türkiye](/en/detay/bartin-province/llms.txt). The marbled polecat is important to the ecosystem due to its habitat preferences, feeding habits, and conservation status. ### **Morphological Characteristics** The body length of the marbled polecat ranges from 29–35 cm on average, while the tail length varies between 13–20 cm. Their weight is approximately 0.5–0.7 kg. Its fur displays a complex pattern of black, yellow, and white spots. The face is usually white, with a black ring around the eyes.
