The aim of this project was to draw attention to the historical significance of the tulip and to connect the public with natural beauty. Launched in collaboration with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the Parks and Gardens Directorate, 2 million tulips were planted in the first year of the festival. Over the years, this number has increased to over 30 million.
