The film centers on a boy named Adam, who has just finished fifth grade and does not want to spend his summer break idle. With his family’s permission, Adem begins working for Gazozcu Cibar Kemal. As the month of together approaches, Adem, influenced by sermons he hears at the mosque, decides to observe fasting. However, his family opposes this decision due to his young age. Adem secretly begins to follow through on his decision. In the scorching heat of the Aegean, working while fasting begins to take a physical and mental toll on Adem. The thirst and hunger he endures distort his perception of reality, and over time he begins to see mirages.
