## Article Content

The [Fiat Topolino](/en/detay/fiat-topolino-f0a45/llms.txt) is an all-electric microcar developed by the Italian automobile manufacturer [Fiat](/en/detay/fiat-b4cdb/llms.txt), designed for short-distance urban transport in Europe. Introduced in 2023, this model shares the same technical foundation as the [Citroën Ami](/en/detay/citroen-457ed/llms.txt), which is also under the Stellantis Group umbrella, and is classified in the L6e category within the European Union.

### **DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL FEATURES**

The Fiat Topolino has a body design with minimal dimensions. The vehicle is 2.53 meters long, 1.4 meters wide, and 1.5 meters high. Offering a two-person seating capacity, the model is produced with symmetrical front and rear panels. The single-color exterior finish, body-integrated headlight structure, and an optionally available fabric roof support the model's structural simplicity.

The Topolino's carrying capacity is optimized for transporting a passenger and limited luggage. The maximum payload is approximately 300 kg. Similar to the Citroën Ami, the vehicle's doors open in opposite directions on the right and left sides.

### **MOTOR OPTIONS AND PERFORMANCE**

The Fiat Topolino is offered with only one electric motor option:

- **Motor type:** Permanent magnet synchronous electric motor
- **Maximum power:** 6 kW (approximately 8 hp)
- **Maximum speed:** 45 km/h
- **Battery capacity:** 5.5 kWh lithium-ion
- **Electric range:** Approximately 75 km (WLTP urban cycle)
- **Charging time:** Approximately 4 hours with a 220V standard household outlet

Due to its low-speed limitation, the vehicle is manufactured to be usable from the age of 16 in many European countries.

### **INTERIOR AND EQUIPMENT FEATURES**

The interior of the Fiat Topolino is focused on functionality. The two-seater cabin is equipped with a central digital instrument display and a stand for smartphone integration. While there is no air conditioning system, a retractable roof option is offered. Storage space is limited to footwells and areas behind the seats.

### **SAFETY AND LEGAL CLASSIFICATION**

As the Topolino is in the L6e class, it is subject to different standards than automotive safety regulations. The vehicle does not have systems such as airbags or ABS. Its maximum speed limitation and lightweight structure comply with the low-speed electric vehicle regulations set by the European Union.

### **PRODUCTION AND MARKET POSITION**

The Fiat Topolino is produced at Stellantis's Kenitra plant in Morocco. The model has been launched for sale in various European countries, primarily Italy. Aimed at providing an environmentally friendly and low-cost alternative in congested urban areas, the model is positioned for widespread adoption in the European Union.
