Fahriye Evcen was born in Solingen, Germany, on June 4, 1986. Her mother is Circassian, and her father is of Turkish origin, having migrated from Kavala to Turkey during the Ottoman Empire. Her family has roots in Samsun. She experienced security concerns during her childhood due to the racist attacks in Germany in the 1990s.

Evcen completed her high school education in Germany and enrolled in the Sociology Department of Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf.
