The Fairy Tale Castle is located within the Eskişehir province of Türkiye’s Central Anatolia Region, in the Sazova Science Culture and Art Park.

When Did It Open?
The Fairy Tale Castle opened to the public on 9 March 2014. It was designed by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality.
What Kind of Structure Is It?
The design of the Fairy Tale Castle draws inspiration from 26 towers and minarets found across different regions of Türkiye. The structure consists of a total of 26 towers. Some of these towers include:
- Galata Tower (Istanbul)
- Princess Tower (Istanbul)
- Justice Tower (Topkapı Sarayı, Istanbul)
- Burgulu Minare (Amasya)
- Ulucami Minaret (Mardin)
- Çan Tower (Diyarbakır)
- Yivli Minare (Antalya)
The heights of the towers vary. According to some sources, the tallest tower is 33 metres, while others cite a height of 50 metres.
Inside the castle:
- 9 towers,
- 8 balconies, and
- 18 tower roofs
are present. The exterior façade features figurative elements evoking fairy tales.

What Is Inside?
The interior spaces of the Fairy Tale Castle feature various thematic areas, interactive activity zones, creative drama workshops, and fairy tale ateliers.
The main thematic areas within the castle include:
- Land of Legends
- Mysterious Journey
- Fairy Tale Tunnel
In these areas, stories are narrated with the guidance of guides, and various theatrical performances are presented.

Featured Characters
The Fairy Tale Castle introduces characters selected from Turkish folk tales and legends:
- Dede Korkut
- Nasrettin Hoca
- Keloğlan
The stories of these characters are told using optical light animations and robotic animations.

Visitor Information
Since its opening, the Fairy Tale Castle has attracted significant attention. In its first 17 months, it was visited by 1,102,635 people. In 2022 alone, approximately 1.1 million visitors toured the castle.
Purpose
The Fairy Tale Castle was created to:
- Support children’s imagination,
- Contribute to their cultural and artistic development,
- Provide interactive learning opportunities through educational content.

The Fairy Tale Castle is open daily from 10:00 to 17:30, except on Mondays.
