[Cumhuriyet](/en/detay/cumhuriyet-mahallesi/llms.txt) is a neighborhood in the [Bahçelievler](/en/detay/bahcelievler-district/llms.txt) district of Istanbul, Turkey. It borders the [Bağcılar](/en/detay/baglar-district-b2c0f/llms.txt) district and is surrounded by the [Soğanlı](/en/detay/soganli-mahallesi/llms.txt) and [Kocasinan](/en/detay/kocasinan-district-da60c/llms.txt) neighborhoods. During the historical Kocasinan period, the area where the neighborhood is located was covered with vineyards, gardens, and farms. Therefore, the neighborhood [has](/en/detay/has-3/llms.txt) historically been associated with Kocasinan (and more recently, with Soğanlı).
