The [TM100](/en/detay/baykar-tm100-69d6f/llms.txt) is a fully indigenous internal combustion engine developed by [Baykar](/en/detay/baykar-teknoloji-5936f/llms.txt) to power unmanned aerial vehicles ([UAVs](/en/detay/uav-and-uas-systems-f5951/llms.txt)). Successfully integrated into the [Bayraktar TB2](/en/detay/bayraktar-tb2-29c8e/llms.txt) platform during flight tests in 2025, the TM100 marks a achievement in Turkey's strategy to localize critical defense technologies and reduce external dependencies.

Conceived within Baykar's broader nationalization agenda, the TM100 was entirely designed, tested, and manufactured in Turkey. More than 40 local companies, coordinated through [SAHA Istanbul](/en/detay/saha-istanbul-savunma-ve-havacilik-kumelenmesi-134/llms.txt) , contributed critical components such as crankshafts (Parsan), camshafts (Estaş), gears (Limöz), connecting rods (Kanca), and engine blocks (Özgayd). This extensive domestic collaboration has significantly increased the indigenous content ratio of the Bayraktar TB2 system.
