Badema

Bâdema entered Turkish from the Arabic expression baʿde mā (بعدما), formed by the combination of baʿde (بعد) meaning “after” and mā (ما) meaning “thing, what”. This construction carries the meaning “after that, from then on”.

• Everyday Language: Used to indicate the time after an event or situation, with the meaning “now, from then on”.
• Literature: Preferred in stories and novels to indicate temporal transitions and to structure the narrative flow.
